Euro Brand headed our way What GOES well in all terrain? A 'GOES' ATV. Introducing, Australia's NEWEST brand from a tried and tested brand in Europe.
GOES Australia
Who is GOES? As its motto states, its not just another brand.
Goes is a European Group specialised in the design, the development and the distribution of motorised products and related accessories.
Made-up of key managers from the Industry, Goes team benefits from more than 15 years of international experience in key business areas such as sales, marketing, product design and after-sales service.
Passionate, Goes managers are primarily users, sharing the same enthusiasm for fun, adventure and sport with a clear understanding of customer needs. Therefore and through a high focus on training, we have established a strong dealer network consisting of over 1000 resellers sharing the same value of "customer satisfaction". Distributed in more than 15 countries, Goes represents a clear alternative to major brands with a comprehensive and diversified line–up in both SUV and sport segments.
Their Mission : deliver Quality Products and European Standard Service while offering Competitive Pricing.
GOES ATV's are currently on-route to Australia, due to hit our shores in early March. The Australian Importer says that growth in the ATV market opened up the opportunity to obtain the GOES import rites, and being no stranger to importing motor vehicles (mainly Scooters and Motorcycles) believed that it was the correct time to branch into ATV's due to the rite product becoming available for import. GOES Australia stated that the industry has plenty of room for quality brands, and believes GOES will compete head on with the mid-range ATV market.
Quasales.com.au caught up with GOES Australia about how they see GOES fits into the Australian Market.
Quadsales (QS): Why did you choose the GOES brand, why not a cheaper Chinese brand?
GOES: Well, GOES is proven in Europe, and particularly in the UK. They have a lot of experience in the motorized vehicle industry, and pride themselves on a good quality product. We're not interested in the cheap stuff, we're interested in the reasonably priced, well built products. Were not afraid of this brand, its tried, tested and wont disappoint us. Recently in Milan, at EICMA, I met with GOES and they want these down south of the globe. They are designed for harsh terrain, so we'll not have a problem with them here. You can even find these quads in Afghanistan.
QS: What part of the market is GOES pitched at? Do they have the build quality that will sustain the harsh Aussie environment?
GOES: GOES has a reliable reputation, lasting in hard conditions. Last year they had a large contingent of people hit the Gobi desert in a fleet of them for testing. They went very well in harsh desert conditions. We're mainly targeting the recreational market, but also the smaller farm and rural users. I'm currently in discussion with a mining company for supplying 20 of them. They want them to do line checks of a pipeline they are running in WA. The pipeline is 300km long, and they need frequent checking. Running Land-cruisers up and down the line is overkill, so they want a practical alternative, and we'll hopefully supply them with 20 machines, so they have 15 to rotate on a roster, and 5 as backups in case of any loss of property. They are looking for a reasonably priced work horse, and we've got what they are looking for.
QS: What models will be available?
GOES: We're only binging in one model for 1st shipment. We've done the research, and from what is selling on the FCAI results, we're bringing in the G625i MAX. The 625i has a unique
shape, automatic transmission, front and rear led lights, its the full options package. Winches have been installed as standard, not optional like Europe, as we wanted a full feature ATV to hit the ground running. One ATV, one price, one happy customer. Its has an EFI engine and the new 600 powerpack takes you to the next level
with unbeatable comfort. More models will follow later in the year, but we want the flagship model established first.
QS: When can we have a demo?
GOES: You're getting the first one out of the container.
QS: Great, cant wait. So lets talk turkey... What will the G625i Max sting us?
GOES: We are finalising this as we speak, so we'll let you know shortly. Lets just say that you're going to get Japanese quality for just a bit more than Chinese price. Aggressively priced ATV's is how we see this project being successful.
Expect GOES ATV's to hit our shores MARCH, 2011, and we will conduct a full review of the new brand to hit Australia.
