Hardiman Kawasaki ATV Race Team rider Luke Gaisford has ridden
the Kawasaki KFX450R ATV to 2nd place in the ATV Cup at the final
round of the 2011 Australian Motocross Championship at Coolum, QLD
on 31 July. Team mate Paul Worth's results were also consistent
enough to put him inside the top 5 by the close of the event.
Luke Gaisford got his 2011 ATV Cup campaign off to the best
start possible when he qualified the KFX450R ATV in pole position
on the Coolum MX track. From there, the current WA State Series
leader stringed together four outstanding motos, taking 2-2-2-2 to
finish in 2nd place overall.
A pleased Luke Gaisford says, "I'm happy with the result. The
KFX450R had nice power and handled the track really well. I'd like
to thank everybody at the Hardiman Kawasaki ATV Race Team and Luke
Beechy Motorsports for their support."
Fellow Hardiman Kawasaki ATV rider Paul Worth showed that
consistency pays off. After struggling slightly in qualifying, the
Hardiman Kawasaki mechanics made some subtle changes to Worth's
Kawasaki ATV that yielded great results. Worth took 5-5-6-5
throughout the four races to finish the ATV Cup in 5th place.
Paul Worth says, "Overall I'm happy with my results this
weekend. The KFX performed really well. I was only a couple of
seconds off third and fourth and my fitness is not where it should
be at the moment so I'll lift the bar for the Nationals at Coolum
later in the year and hopefully I can finish on the podium."

The Hardiman Kawasaki ATV Race Team will be looking to further
their success at the QLD ATV Titles at Moranbah, QLD this
month.
